01Service purpose
MOTSOA is a digital marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of vehicles and spare parts in Cameroon and Central Africa. The platform offers three main services:
1. Vehicle and spare parts sale/purchase. 2. Vehicle rental between individuals and/or professionals. 3. Vehicle importation through verified importers.
TAG Services SARL provides the platform, publishing tools, search, plans and promotion options. Unless stated otherwise, payments (purchase, rental) happen directly between users.
02User account
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- An account may be suspended in case of fraud, abuse or rule breaches.
- A user may hold multiple roles: seller, renter, importer.
- Phone verification is required to publish listings (sale, rental or import).
- New accounts start on a free starter plan; paid plans may be introduced later.
03Listings & content
Listings must be fair, lawful and compliant. Prohibited items include counterfeits, stolen vehicles, misleading, discriminatory or illegal content.
MOTSOA may moderate, refuse, suspend or remove any listing. Report content via securite@motsoa.com.
04Plans & platform payments
Paid plans and options (e.g. promotion) are charged via the methods offered on the site (including Mobile Money). Receipts and billing questions: facturation@motsoa.com.
Unless required by law, amounts paid for already activated services are non-refundable.
05Rental service
MOTSOA is a platform connecting vehicle owners with potential renters. The rental price is set freely by the owner. MOTSOA does not collect rent: payment is made directly between the parties. Fuel is not included in the rental price, unless otherwise stated in the listing.
The owner (lessor) alone remains responsible for the vehicle's condition, accidents, theft, insurance and any consequence linked to the rental. MOTSOA is not the rental company and does not cover these risks.
06Import service
MOTSOA connects clients with verified importers. Imported vehicles arrive at the port of Douala or Kribi. TAG Services SARL does not handle customs clearance, duties or post-port delivery. The connection service is free for clients.
07Role of MOTSOA
TAG Services SARL is not the seller, renter or importer of goods listed by users (unless listings are published in its own name). It is not a party to sale, rental or import contracts between users and does not guarantee quality, ownership or conformity of the goods.
08Intellectual property
By publishing content, you warrant you hold the necessary rights and grant TAG Services SARL a non-exclusive license to display, store and promote it on MOTSOA.
09Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TAG Services SARL is not liable for indirect damages, loss of opportunity or disputes between users. The platform is provided “as is”, subject to reasonable availability commitments.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought (contact@motsoa.com). Failing that, the competent courts of Yaoundé shall have jurisdiction.
